After waiting nearly 2 hours to see the eye doctor, I walked out without seeing him. I. Was. PI**ED!!

My appointment was at 4:35, and I left at 6:15, for a 6:30 meeting. No one had come in to give an update, or an I’m sorry. Nothing.

I did stick my head out of the room just to check at one point, but the techs just said, “the board is lit like a Christmas tree.”

When I left, I was so angry, it was best that I DIDN’T see him. No doctor’s time is worth more than mine OR YOURS, no matter what he charges for it. 😡 That’s just ridiculous!

What’s your opinion? How long will you wait, before you walk out?

POV: Tired of carrying an extra sack of potatoes … or two?

Boost NATURAL GLP-1? Yes, please!

Our hike was AMAZING, but I would have struggled if I’d been carrying that extra weight!

Nothing seemed to work anymore—even though I’m a personal trainer, I’d packed on some menopause weight, plus some!

I found this system that focuses on gut + metabolism support and between January 5 and Feb 27, I was down 10 pounds—with a natural system—EVEN THE MENO BELLY!! (Now I’m down 12—slow, steady, and strong!)

Want to feel more in control again? Without a quick fix—just supporting your body differently?

Message me GLP if you want to learn more.

To think that I used to be a vacation sitter…

Three weeks ago, we took a trip of a lifetime! I have been savoring it ever since. I still can’t believe all that we did and all that we saw!

But the old me? She would have passed. She MIGHT have taken a walk on the beach, but she would probably have rather just sat, and ate (anything and everything), and napped. That used to sound glorious, but it was killing me!

Life looks a whole lot different now—more movement, more real, whole food, and more adventure travel! And I wouldn’t trade a thing!

GenX, start making changes now, so you can enjoy life more! There’s nothing like it!

So sad to hear of the passing of Jeff Galloway, one of the true greats in the running community. He made it acceptable to run-walk-run, in a sport that could have seemed elusive to me. What a sincere champion for runners of ALL abilities! Thanks for paving the way!

Anybody else get dosed with this a ton, like I did?

Ice cold, bubblegum flavor, neon pink? Does it take you back??

Did you know that an excess of antibiotics at an early age could totally ambush your gut… and still be impacting you today??

We need lots of different bacteria in our gut, and the more often you had antibiotics, greater chance that your good bacteria have been affected.

What that means is you may have more inflammation, a weaker immune system, digestive issues, and even possibly autoimmune issues.

If any of that sounds familiar, give me a follow and share. I can help! Also, feel free to DM with questions if you don’t want to wait for the next installment.

Nobody wants that. Right? One of the best pieces of advice I can offer you is: TRAIN WHAT YOU WANT TO MAINTAIN! If enjoying life is important to you, you’d better keep moving. Yes, you may have pain. I mean we are Gen❌. Things may be starting to hurt. But you can’t stop moving, unless you want to lose the ability you have. You don’t have to go fast, but you do have to keep going! The world is full of folks who stopped moving, and essentially stopped living—because they stopped doing the things they love. They are still here, but their calendars are full of doctors appointments—trying to manage symptom after symptom, but never addressing the root of the problem.Who is ready to dig a little deeper and feel a little better with me? Follow and tell me where your struggle is. Let’s get you moving again!

Georgia/southern folks, who’s with me?

I am good at a lot of things, but winter is not one of them. 😩🤣

Calibrate: to make small, precise adjustments, so things work optimally. To fine-tune what I’m already doing.

I’m not starting from scratch on something new. I’m fine tuning what I already have!

I’ll be making micro-shifts: breath, movement, boundaries, rest—so that everything supports the life I want to live.

Do you have a word or a goal for the year? I’d love to hear about it!

What day of the week is it again? Anybody know?

Violet isn’t sure either 🤣🐈

Feel free to repost. She loves attention. 😏

Here are my top 5 things to prioritize.

1. More Steps/Movement—If 8-10,000 steps feels unattainable, aim for MORE than your normal.
2. More Hydration—again, if 8 cups seems crazy, drink one cup more than normal. It will get easier to increase from there.
3. More time Outside—Nature is good for your nervous system. It helps clear your mind.
4. Reset my Metabolism—just 3 days. It helps clear out the crap from the holidays, reduces cravings, and boosts my gut function. (**FR33 for newbies with a combo order, and 50% off for previous customers—through 12/31.)
5. Prioritize Sleep—arguably the most important! Sleep is restorative for our bodies and our brains. It’s a GIFT, and it’s way more important than finishing that Netflix binge, or scrolling on socials!

**Cows and Donkeys optional, but they help!😁

These are my first 5—I can make these simple shifts without too much time or effort. And they have the biggest payoff.

What would you add to the list? Want to join me? Tell me which things you’ll adopt to get yourself back on track.

Our Boot Camp crew took a Jingle Jaunt around Madison to see Christmas lights. I think that will have to become an annual event! So much fun!
