Thumbs up to Suneagles as a hickory golf venue. Three players embarked on a round yesterday in remarkably quite nice weather for November in NJ. Played from 5400 yards it was a fun and challenging course for hickory play. Will be on the course rotation for the 2022 season. Thank you Brian and Ray for an enjoyable afternoon.

Hickory was played today by the GSHGS at Charleston Springs South Course today. The dynamic father and son duo were victorious against my team despite my 4 birdies with a hot putter and my team's 5 birdie total. It was the first time we were able to get a foursome to play together for one of the last hickory get togethers this year. Hopefully get a list of more interested players for the 2022 season and have regular monthly outings all over the state.

Hickory was played at Fox Hollow yesterday from the white tees at just over 6100 yards. Nice challenging course. The rough can only be described as pure evil and the greens are very fast and slopey. Don't get above the hole there. Probably more appropriate to play up a set of tees. The green tees are around 5300 yards.

Almost got to play hickory golf this past Sunday but it was another NJ Sunday washout. Hopefully will get some cooperative weather soon.

We are headed back to Weequahic today hoping to make it through without any weather issues. Looking to get together with more hickory players this summer and playing some matches. Contact us if interested.

A 12-hole featherie match (balls provided at no cost by Hickory Lane), followed by 9 holes of the finest gutty golf to be had.

Saturday 10/9: Course TBD
Gutty with Park or Braid ball.
