The 2025/2026 basketball season has come to a close, and what a ride it has been! A huge thank you to all our fans and supporters who cheered us on every step of the way.

Coach Ballard also sends a special shoutout to our players, coaching staff, and the entire Scott High community, your dedication and hard work made this season unforgettable.

The 2026/27 season will be here before we know it… get ready, Skyhawks!

🏀 Scott High School Basketball Wraps Up Regular Season! 🏀

The Scott Skyhawks finish the regular season 10-12 with a win over the Lincoln County Panthers!

Now, it’s playoff time! Scott will take on our regional rival, the Logan Wildcats, in WVSSAC Class AA, Region IV action:

Today we celebrate the heart, hustle, and leadership of our only senior on the Scott Skyhawk Basketball team — #4 Jeremiah “Peanut” Brown!

From Hewitt, WV, Peanut is the son of Carl and Rachel Brown and has been a 4-year member of Skyhawk Basketball. His dedication, toughness, and team first spirit have left a mark on this program that won’t be forgotten.
Through the practices, the battles, the wins, and the lessons, you’ve represented Skyhawk basketball with pride. Your leadership and loyalty mean more than stats ever could.

We love you, Peanut and thank you for all the memories, the effort, and the example you’ve set. Once a Skyhawk, always a Skyhawk. 💪🏀
