Dear Valued Customers and Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we share some difficult news with you today. After 29 wonderful years of serving our community at Pumpkin Hollow Driving Range, we have made the bittersweet decision not to reopen for the 2026 season. This place has been more than just a business to us—it's been a labor of love, a gathering spot for golf enthusiasts, and a cornerstone of family memories for so many, including our own.
As many of you know, our driving range was founded by family, and it's family circumstances that now lead us to this chapter's end. Following the recent passing of our beloved grandmother, who owned the land we've operated on all these years, we've navigated some tough decisions about the future. Ultimately, we've chosen to close the business and allow the property to transition to new hands.
We want you to know how deeply grateful we are for your unwavering support. From our early days to the incredible surge in visitors since COVID—fueled by the vibrant growth in our area with new apartments and communities—we've cherished every swing, every laugh, and every loyal face that became part of our extended family. Your enthusiasm has made this journey truly special, and it's heartbreaking to say goodbye.
Thank you for the memories, the friendships, and the joy you've brought to our little slice of green. We'll miss you all more than words can express. If there's anything we can do in these final days, please don't hesitate to reach out.
With sincere appreciation,
Dan and Mark Orvick
