As we wrap up an incredible season with Championship Weekend, I want to take a moment to reflect on what made this year so special.
Every team competed with heart, determination, and sportsmanship all season long. While only one team in each division can finish as champion, every player who stepped onto the field this year should be proud of what they accomplished. Congratulations to all of our 2026 Division Champions on a well-earned season!
To our players: thank you for your hard work, dedication, and love for the game. We watched you grow, improve, and gain confidence with every practice and every game. Most importantly, we hope you had fun and created memories that will last a lifetime.
To our coaches: thank you for investing your time, energy, and passion into these young athletes. The lessons you teach go far beyond baseball, and the impact you make on our players and community cannot be overstated.
To our families: thank you for the countless rides, practices, games, and words of encouragement. Youth baseball is only possible because of your commitment and support. Thank you for giving your children the opportunity to learn, compete, and grow through this game.
To our concession volunteers: thank you for keeping our league running all season long. A special thank you to the Cubs and Dodgers families for stepping up during Championship Weekend and helping keep the concession stand open and operating smoothly.
To our Baseball Board: thank you for being the backbone of Madison County Little League. Your countless hours behind the scenes often go unnoticed, but your dedication is what makes this league possible and helps create a memorable experience for every player and family.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who was part of our league this season. Baseball is about much more than wins and losses—it’s about teamwork, growth, friendships, and community.
We hope every player leaves this season a little more confident, a little more skilled, and excited to come back and play again next year.
