✨ Senior Spotlight, Lacey Souza ✨

After high school, I plan to attend community college for two years to earn my AA in Health Services, then transfer to UC Davis to continue my studies in medical terminology and pursue my career goals.
One of my favorite memories from these past years has been all the recitals I’ve performed in alongside my friends. The friendships, laughter, and memories I’ve made through dance are something I’ll always cherish. 💖
A special thank you to my coaches, Cambria and Cianna, for believing in me, pushing me to grow, and helping me become the dancer I am today. I am so grateful for your guidance and support throughout my journey. 🩰✨

✨ Senior Spotlight: McKenzie Treber✨

This fall, McKenzie is heading to Fresno Pacific University to pursue a degree in Business! 🎓📚
Some of her favorite memories at AADG include performing in the Disneyland parade ✨🏰 and competing alongside her best friends. The friendships, experiences, and moments on stage have made her dance journey unforgettable.
As she begins this exciting new chapter, she’ll especially miss teaching her little girls, spending time in ballet with Miss Alexis, and sharing classes with Cambria, Kirsten, and Cianna. 💕🩰
We are so proud of you, McKenzie, and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish next! ❤️✨

What’s the next adventure for Coach Angie???

I’m going to UCLA and majoring in Economics, hoping to minor in Public Policy. As a community member here in Madera, I found purpose in roles that allowed me to serve as an advocate of others, taught me to lead others confidently yet humbly, and have provided me with the opportunity to gather and share wisdom by communicating with others; roles such as sports team captain, MUSD student board member, and, of course, a coach at AADG.

After attending UCLA and earning a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Public Policy, I plan to pursue a master’s in Economics, and apply for the UCLA School of Law. My goal is to work towards understanding how money and policy influence our country and society, and to learn how we can reallocate U.S funding to reinvigorate federally funded systems and programs!

I have so many great memories at AADG that’s it’s hard to reduce it to one single favorite memory. However, I would have to say that I will never forget the feeling of a student achieving a new skill! Every time on of my students learns a new skill, I am overwhelmed with pride and excitement. My students have taught me that success is a product of collaboration, hard work, and perseverance! I will miss them the most when I leave to start my new journey at UCLA ❤️

Happy 21st Birthday to our amazing Coach Cianna! 🎉✨

Whether she’s teaching in the studio, coaching cheer at Torres High School, or performing on the sidelines for Fresno State, Cianna leads with so much passion, hard work, and heart! ❤️ Our dancers look up to her, learn from her, and absolutely adore her.😘

We’re so lucky to have her as part of the AADG family. 💙
