Madelia Golf Club

Madelia Golf Club *MGC will be opening to the public on April 24th, 2026 at 1pm. We look forward to seeing all of our patrons* Enter through the gate to Watona City Park.

The Madelia Golf Course is a challenging 9-hole, par 36 course, nestled along the edges of the Watonwan River and Watona City Park. The course is located just north of the Watonwan County Road 9 exit off of State Highway 60. The golf course’s upgraded irrigation system, installed a few years ago, keeps the course in the lush condition golfers in the region have come to expect. Clubs and pull carts

are available for rent and motorized carts for rent or lease. The Clubhouse also features a full service bar, serving great food, beer and cocktails. Call the Club House after you tee off on #8 and we’ll start a pizza for you to enjoy when you finish hole #9. The clubhouse along with outside tents are available to rent for special occasions, tournaments and meetings. Please call the Club House at (507) 642-3608 or City Hall (during the off season) to inquire about availability and pricing.

The Madelia Golf Course will be closed on Tuesday, September 8th so our grounds crew can complete the annual fall aeration of the course.

Aeration is an important part of keeping our turf healthy and the course in great shape! 🌱

The Pro-Shed will be open regular hours (8:00 AM–Dark) every day this week EXCEPT Wednesday, September 2nd.

📅 Wednesday, September 2nd:
The Pro-Shed will open at 3:45 PM.

Labor Day – Monday, September 7th:
We will be OPEN regular hours, 8:00 AM–Dark! So if you have the day off, come spend it with us on the course! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

The golf course will remain open for play even when the Pro-Shed is closed.

🚨 LAST-MINUTE UPDATE! 🚨

We have a last-minute booking for the White Tent this Sunday, which means the pickleball court will be CLOSED from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM on Sunday, August 30th. 🏓

⛳ The golf course will remain OPEN for play during this time.

Please plan accordingly and allow for extra time for parking if you are golfing or visiting us. If needed, additional parking is available at the softball/baseball fields.

We appreciate your understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience! 💚
