✨MEET LEAH✨

“Hello! My name is Leah Grissom, and I am so excited for my second year teaching at Macon Dance Experience! I hope to continue bringing fun and dance together in my classes while helping dancers grow and gain confidence!

I grew up dancing in Kirksville, Missouri from the age of 3, all the way until I graduated high school at 18. When I was approached last year to teach at MDE, I was so excited to dip my toes back into the dance world! I truly think that dancing gives dancers a sense of confidence and connection with not only themselves, but the other dancers they grow with throughout each season. It’s such a cool experience to see dance from the teacher’s perspective, and I am so thankful that I get the opportunity to continue to do that this year!

When I am not at the studio this year, I will be taking on a new role in the Special Education field at the Westran School district! I am so blessed that both of my jobs allow me to help students grow in various areas!

I can’t wait to see what this dance season has in store for all of the dancers at Macon Dance Experience! Here’s to another great year filled with fun, growth, friendships, and lots of dancing!”

✨MEET APPHIA✨

“Hi! My name is Apphia Hall, and I’m so excited to be a teacher at MDE this year! I have been dancing for 9 years and absolutely love getting to share my passion for dance with others. One of my favorite things about dance is getting to watch dancers grow in confidence, learn new skills, and most importantly, have fun while doing what they love!

Outside of dance, I’m a sophomore at Macon R-1 High School and stay busy with lots of different activities. I’m involved in FFA, track, the MHS dance team, and part of a preprofessional dance collective based in LA, Kinfigure Kollective!

I’m so excited for another year of dancing, making memories, and getting to know all of the dancers and families at the studio. I can’t wait to see everyone in the studio! 💕”
