Just ☝🏻 more sleep until we head down the turnpike to I-44 Riverside Speedway with Hannah Adair Racing & Development!

It’s been 7 weeks since I’ve been behind the wheel of Hannah’s #22, and after spending the last 7 weeks on the road racing the 11AZ, I’m excited to strap back in and get after it.

Looking forward to a fun night of racing with this team and seeing what we can accomplish together!

Macon Speedway Race Recap!! 🚨

We showed good speed all weekend and improved every time we hit the track!

Friday:
We qualified 3rd, which put us starting P2 in the heat race. We got a great start and jumped out to the lead early, but unfortunately got taken out before completing a lap. That buried us in the feature, where we started 19th.

We found some speed up top and were making progress through the field, but once the bottom lane took rubber, our car was just a little too snug. While trying to make something happen, I made a mistake and jumped another car’s left rear, which resulted in a flat right rear and ended our night early.

Saturday:
Preston and I decided to pull double duty and run both classes!

A-Class:
We missed the setup a little in qualifying, which put us starting P7 in the heat race. We worked our way up to P3 and finished there. In the feature, we started P9, fell back a couple spots early, but battled back to bring home a P9 finish.

Non-Wing:
Qualifying went a little better, putting us P5 in the heat race. We finished P6 after some hard racing. In the feature, we rolled off P11 and worked our way forward to finish P8.

Overall, there are a lot of positives to take away from the weekend. We showed speed, continued to improve every time we hit the track, and gained valuable experience at Macon.

We’re ready for Night ✌🏻 here at MacNational Open Wheel 600 Series Open Wheel 600 Series !

We decided to take the wings off my car and put some on Preston Norbury , so we’ll both be pulling double duty tonight.

Last night was a tough one. We were taken out while leading our heat race, which put us deep in the field for the feature. We were able to make up some ground early and found some speed up against the cushion, but once the track took rubber, we were just a little too snug to make the moves we needed. Unfortunately, I made a mistake late in the race and jumped another car’s left rear, which caused a flat right rear tire and ended our night early.

Even with the setbacks, we learned a lot and found some things that should help us tonight. Time to take that momentum into Night 2 and see what we can do.
