In Loving Memory of Norma Adams.
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we mourn the sudden passing of Norma, a truly extraordinary woman who was the heart and soul of our kitchen for more than 13 wonderful years.
To say Norma ran our kitchen is an understatement—she gave her passion, and her whole heart every single day. For over a decade, she poured love into everything she created, nourishing not just our bodies with incredible food, but our spirits with her steady hand, and bright smile. The kitchen was her domain, and she managed it with unmatched pride and care. Norma’s dedication went far beyond her work. Her sudden departure leaves a quiet, empty space that will be deeply felt by all of us. While the kitchen will never be quite the same without Norma's presence, her spirit, generosity, and lasting warmth for over 13 years at Bello Woods as a part of our family will remain with us forever.
We will miss her more than words can express.
A service will be held Monday, August 3rd from 2 - 8 pm at Grace Memorial Life Celebration Center.

Let’s follow Megan on what we should know about this heat!!!

☀️ Did you know that heat exhaustion and heat stroke are NOT the same?

Many people use these terms interchangeably, but knowing the difference could save a life!

🥵 Heat exhaustion is your body’s warning sign that it’s struggling to keep itself cool. If recognized early, you can often prevent it from progressing.

🚨 Heat stroke is a medical emergency. Call 911 immediately. It can cause permanent disability or even death if emergency treatment is delayed.

This time of year, I encourage everyone to know the warning signs; not just for yourself, but for your children, aging parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors, and anyone who spends time outdoors.

Here are a few simple ways to help prevent heat-related illness:

💧 Stay well hydrated.

🌳 Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning.

👕 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing.

⏰ Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day.

❤️ Listen to your body. If you start feeling dizzy, weak, or nauseated, don’t ignore it.
