Chloe February 29th 2008 - May 1st 2023

There comes a time in every pups life where living is harder then staying. Today was Chloe’s day. She had 15 wonderful years on Mackinac Island and at Mackinac Wheels. Not too many pups can say that. She will once again be able to play with Bella. So take today and celebrate her life. I know she has a tremendous amount of people who love her and care about her. Just know she is no longer suffering in life and is once again at peace with no pain. She loved anyone that she ever happened to cross paths with and never once hurt anyone or anything that she ever was lucky enough to encounter. She will be missed and loved always. Rest in peace baby girl.

We are currently looking for energetic, personable and responsible individuals to join our rental staff for the 2023 season on beautiful Mackinac Island. Positions available from May through Labor Day or through October.

Employees will be responsible for handling financial transactions, answering questions and assisting customers in finding the appropriate bike for their rental needs.

Employees must be able to:
- Exhibit good customer service skills
- Handle large groups of customers in a fast-paced environment
- Work well under pressure
- Be able to work as a team

Dorm style housing is available if needed for full time employees

We award a $1.00/hour bonus for every hour worked for employees that stay to the end of their contract.

Beautiful sunrise as we enter our last week of the season. Our last day is Saturday Oct. 23 but we will be open by appointment for bike rental until it snows and for bike repair by appointment throughout the winter season.

Job Summary

We are looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our bike mechanic team during the summer 2021 season. We are looking for candidates who can work a minimum from mid May to mid August with preference given to candidates who can work from early May to the end of October. Training is available if needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Repairing a variety of bikes
- Interacting with the public regarding bikes, bike repairs, and biking.
- Mechanics will also need to help with the bike rental when needed.

Qualifications and Skills

- Competent understanding of bike repair.
- Ability to work with the public in a professional manner.
- Ability to exhibit good time management skills.

Benefits

Dorm style housing is available if needed.

We award a $0.50/hour bonus for every hour worked for employees that stay to the end of their season.
