LAKERS ROCKET LEAGUE FINISHES #25 IN THE MHSEL FOR SPRING 2022!

After falling in a close 1-3 match against Bloomfield Hills High School, our Lakers Rocket League team finished 12-12 on the year, leaving them in 25th out of 49 teams statewide. Knowing that last night's game would decide who got into the playoff tournament, Lakers RL spent the last few nights grinding practice hard. They were excited about how much better they played even as they lost and felt that with more practice they can make it next Fall. The team consisted of Vincent Davis, Derby Kromer, Mason McLean, and Roman Gruits.

LAKERS SMASH FINISHES #25 IN THE MHSEL FOR SPRING 2022!

After a win last night, our Lakers Smash team finished 16-12 on the year, leaving them in 25th out of 49 teams statewide. The team consisted of Wyatt Morse, Jack Kaminen, Bela Soderquist, Katie Burt, Avery Gruits, and Kizzie Soderquist. Special shoutout to Coach Rob Klco for all his efforts and leading practices and matches this season!

It's the last week of the Regular Season! And both teams are on the bubble for the post season. The Top 16 teams go to an elimination bracket tournament for the Championship.

Lakers Smash ( #31 - (12-12)) plays tonight against Lawton High School ( #33 - (12-20)). There are 49 Smash teams in the MSHEL Smash League. It'll take a lot of scenarios, but they could still jump to the Top 16 with a dominant performance tonight.

Lakers Rocket League ( #21 - (11-9)) plays tomorrow night against Bloomfield Hills Purple( #17 - (13-7)). There are 49 teams in the MSHEL Rocket League Series as well. A win should be enough to crack into the Top 16 if some tiebreakers go their way.

Lakers Smash lost tonight's match against Iron Mountain 3-0. The games were competitive with Wyatt Morse especially standing out tonight in a very close loss. One more match next week to see if we can sneak into the playoffs. Lakers Smash is currently 3-3 on the season overall.
