๐ Leaders Who Care Spotlight: Superintendent Wyatt Milton ๐
As we close out the first week of a new school year, there could not be a better time to recognize a leader whose heart for Baker County is centered on its greatest investment, our children and their future.
Today, the Baker County YMCA is proud to recognize Superintendent Wyatt Milton as one of our Leaders Who Care.
Superintendent Milton represents what it means to be a servant leader, leading with purpose, putting others first, and understanding that the decisions we make today help shape the opportunities our children will have tomorrow.
Our children need more than what happens during the school day. They need safe places to belong, caring adults who believe in them, opportunities to be active and healthy, mentors who encourage them, and programs that help every child, regardless of their circumstances, discover what they are capable of becoming.
That is why partnerships between our schools, the YMCA, families, and community leaders are so important. When we invest in programs that strengthen the whole child, we aren't simply supporting an activity or a season; we are investing in confidence, character, health, leadership, and a stronger future for Baker County.
As students finish their first week back in the classroom, we are reminded that their future is being written right now; and all of us have a role in helping them succeed.
Thank you, Superintendent Milton, for being a Leader Who Cares, for serving Baker County with heart, and for believing in what is possible when a community comes together for its kids.
๐ Strong schools. Strong kids. Strong families. A stronger Baker County.
