“A note from our director…
“Here’s the thing your coach probably wants to tell you…but won’t.”
If your teen dances at school—dance team, auxiliary, majorette, musical theater, whatever it is—that cannot be the only place they train.
And parents, I need you to hear this too.
Your child’s coach has a TEAM to prepare. They have choreography to clean, formations to set and performances to get ready for.
That is not the same thing as dance training.
If your dancer needs stronger technique, better turns, higher leaps, more flexibility, cleaner lines or more confidence—they need class!
And teens, stop thinking that going to practice is the same as training.
You know that dancer you keep looking at like, “How did she get so good?”
She trains.
She takes class. She works on her technique. She trains outside of rehearsal.
Practice prepares you for the performance.
Training prepares YOU to be a better dancer.
So if you’re serious about getting better this year, come train.
It’s Teen Tuesday at ETD.
Stop playing. Get in class.
Love,
Ms.Chan’nel
Train. Perform. Thrive.
