Community service is a huge part of the Lyons Backer Football Club. For the second year in a row, the LBFC hosted a food drive to benefit LEAF and we are proud to say we were able to donate 747 pounds of donated items between food and personal hygiene products! Thank you so much to everyone in the community for your donations.💙

Once you’re part of LBFC, you’re always part of LBFC. We’re incredibly proud of all our former players and love continuing to follow and support them in their athletic journeys and beyond.

We wanted to reach out with an opportunity to stay connected and continue making an impact. Our annual food drive with LEAF and CEMEX is underway (May 2–18), and it’s a great way to give back to the community while supporting what LBFC stands for.

Last year, our small club helped generate one of LEAF’s largest donation totals—and we’re pushing to do even more this year. The need right now is real, and this is a simple way to step in and help.

Come meet the coaches and see the four team principles of safety, character development, football, and FUN in action. This clinic is open to incoming fall 2026 7th and 8th graders for Monday - Thursday. Incoming 5th and 6th graders that are interested in football (and their parents) are invited to attend and participate for the Thursday and Friday sessions. Come join us in nurturing the future of Lyons’ own Friday Night Lights!

LBFC Families,

We wanted to pass along a great opportunity being offered by one of our LBFC coaches, Jayme Friedman. Jayme is starting a training class focused on agility, conditioning, strength, and overall athletic development—all things that translate directly to football, but also help kids become better all-around athletes.

The program will be split into two age groups:
• 3rd–5th grade
• 6th–8th grade

Participation is completely optional—this is simply an additional opportunity for families who are interested in helping their athletes continue to develop in the offseason. As we often say, games aren’t just won on game day—they’re built through preparation and training outside the season.

Class details:
• Cost: $20 per class (fees go directly to the Poppy & Sage studio rental in Lyons where the classes are held)
• Schedule: 11 total classes running March 2 through May 25
• No class dates: March 16 (spring break) and April 27 (school day off)

LBFC Families — thank you all for an amazing night at the Holiday Parade! 🎄🏈

The parade was a complete success. Our athletes, parents, and coaches had a great time, and most importantly, everyone was safe.

Thank you again to every parent, family member, and athlete who came out to help decorate, walk, ride, and represent LBFC with pride.
