8th place (out of 18 all AAA and Major teams) gold bracket finish for the Hitmen at Ripken in Pigeon Forge in the Volunteer Experience tournament. They overcame a lot of injuries throughout the week and held their own against some stout competitors. They also got second place in the skills competition! It was a great week spent together ❤️⚾️🩶⚾️💙

Baseball has a way of testing you.

This team has faced more adversity lately than they’re used to—tough schedules with tough losses, things just not seeming to go our way, uncertainty, and changes within our team family. But today, these boys reminded everyone who they are.

They stayed together, and played for each other. They never gave up.
After starting the weekend 0-2 and finding ourselves in the Silver Bracket, they could have folded. Instead, they hustled, fought back and finished as champions.

A Silver Bracket championship may not have been the path they wanted, but the lessons learned and the grit shown along the way aren’t all for nothing.

Proud of every one of these boys.
