Established in 2015 and become a nonprofit in 2017, RebelTown Rollers has grown to over 60 members and boasts a travel team, rookies program, and officials crew.

Happy New Year! Rolling into 2026!

To finish out 2025, our tenth year as a league, we’d like to take the time to thank our founders, Gwar and Krispy, and original board members BloodJen, Whatsername, and Tre! These leaders helped set the foundation for the first decade of RebelTown and we are forever thankful for them and all the work they put into this league.
We started as a handful of skaters on a basketball park at Gridley Park in Cerritos, which quickly turned into a full team of Rebels at Artesia Park, then the Rinks HB (rip), then Cypress Park (rip) and now our long term home track at Lynwood Park!
It has been a rollercoaster of a decade - from starting a league from scratch, and constantly recruiting new members, and struggling seemingly forever to find practice spaces, to playing bouts and scrimmages, fighting pickleball developments, surviving a pandemic, rebuilding after a 2 year hiatus, and continuing forward into the new derby frontier post-2020.
Thank you to anyone who has ever called RebelTown their home! There are so many names to thank, so if you have ever skated with us, coached, volunteered, or supported in any way, we thank you and couldn’t have made it to a decade of derby without you!
Now, let’s bring it in -

Join us January 4th at Steel Craft in Bellflower for our End of the Year Party and All League Meeting as we celebrate the 2025 season and plan our 2026 season!

January 4th starting at 12pm.

League Meeting followed by the EOY party.

$15-$20 White elephant game (bring a wrapped present if you would like to participate).

Bout Recap! RebelTown 123 - Wasteland 153! Congrats on the win! We were so happy our first home game was a success! The vibes on the track were excellent and both teams had a great time! Thanks for all the volunteers that helped make this day happen! We couldn’t do it without you! More photos coming soon!!!

Recruit Night! Interested in joining roller derby? Join us at Lynwood Park, Wednesday October 15 to learn about roller derby and all that RebelTown has to offer. No experience necessary! We will teach you how to skate!

RebelTown is one of the many roller derby leagues in the greater LA/OC area - what sets us apart is our commitment to creating a community that provides a fun and positive experience for our skaters.

RebelTown is a q***r and trans inclusive space, and we are committed to anti-racist practices on and off the track.

RebelTown is also financially inclusive, offering loaner gear and no skater will ever be turned away for lack of funds.

Our primary focus is player safety and wellness, as we are a diverse group of skaters from all backgrounds and levels of derby experience and athleticism.
