There’s a lot of things that go unnoticed or unrecognized in what we do. What we do isn’t easy. We test the limits. Test the mentality and test the drive of our girls. We put them up against older and better competition every chance we get. Some don’t make it. Some take longer than others and some fight with all they have.

Today we had 2-7th graders and 1-8th grade pitcher (who probably got the short end of the stick with the opponents today) play in their first showcase tournament. I’m sure they aren’t thrilled with their stats but they stood up against sophomores, juniors, and seniors and did everything I asked. Excited for their futures!!!

Not the way we wanted to finish. But it’s not always about winning. You have to develop too.

But on a bright note. Josslyn Glendening hit another one all the way back to Indiana today for a 3 run bomb!!!

Good 2nd game

Came away with a 3-2 win.
Brooklyn Turpin threw 6 tough innings giving up 1ER while striking out 8. She also 1-2 with an RBI

Madelyn Jones went 1-2 with inside the park home run with a runner on. She drove in her sister, Evelyn on the play who went 1-1 with a walk.

But we won against an 18u team 10-0

Josslyn Glendening with a 3 run bomb
Sophee Werner with a 2 run bomb
Evelyn Jones 2-2 with a triple.
Lilly Watzlavik with a triple.and drumroll please. She threw a NO HIT SHUT OUT!!!!

Fusion Jones is headed to the Crimson Classic, hosted by Transylvania University.

The goal is simple: put our athletes in places where opportunities can happen. 💚🖤🤍
