Hey folks! Just a gentle reminder --its mud season!! ☁️🌥️This means the uphill and downhill trail here at the Outing Club is still pretty fragile.

There is still snow in spots, frozen ground, and mud where we have water running down the trails.

🚵‍♂️Biking and hiking on the trails when there is softness and erosion makes them less durable and need more maintenance. 🪏

We also need to clear blow downs, and inspect everything for hazards.

So please, stay off the man-made trails for now. The current weather will dry them out quickly, and we need to make sure they are in great shape for the season.

Want to help with trail maintenance and development? Reach out and we'll get you in touch with the Bike Trail Committee. We always need more volunteers, and trail maintenance is an ongoing process.

We had an incredible winter, but now that the snow is mostly, we're stoked for the hiking and biking season!! 👏🙌👏

Tomorrow we have the Bonanza from 10-4. Come hang out and support or cheer on the skiers/riders.

We are looking forward to Saturday's Uphill Bonanza! Things get rolling first thing in the morning with registration starting (exact time TBD, watch for an email) and a pancake breakfast with coffee starting at 8:30.

Race begins at 10 am, and ends at 4 pm. We have , attending to support the event, and our grill will be open for burgers, fries and more!

We have a great crowd registered, but we'd love to have even more because it'll just make the party better. Share this with your crazy hiker, skier, and split boarding friends.

Folks! The Uphill Bonanza is this Saturday! There is still time to register, and a post with more info is following this one.

Because of the event, we will NOT have daytime skiing on Saturday, March 7th but we do plan to open for night skiing.

We are looking for donations to round out our raffle! The raffle we usually do is always a big hit, and helps raise more funds to important projects.

If you would like to donate a product, service, or gift card, reach out! We deeply appreciate the entire community.

Town Meeting Day in Vermont is today! We hope all you Vermonters are able to find a chance to get out to vote in your local elections.

We know that everyone carefully weighs the choices on the ballots for appropriations. If you are voting in Lyndonville, we would so appreciate you considering voting "yes" for the Outing Club appropriation.

The Lyndon Outing Club is providing services year round to the community, whether it is KEAP using our building for winter break camp, local kids enjoying the skate board park, bikers doing laps on the mountain bike trail, or the 1000s of skiers and riders who come out every week for affordable snow sports.

The appropriation from the town helps us keep the basic bills paid, and allows us to continue to plan for the ways we can continue to support outdoor recreation and families in the Northeast Kingdom.

This year has been incredible, being able to open and serve the community 4 days a week since late January.

We look forward to many more in the future, and we want to thank all the local tax payers for their part in supporting us!

Happy March 1st!!!

Scott is laying down fresh and clean corduroy this Sunday morning. The hill will be in beautiful shape for skiing from 12-4 pm.

The kitchen is open, the sun is out, and it's a beautiful day to ski with friends and neighbors! ☀️

Remember, you can sign up to skin, or hike for our Uphill Bonanza Fundraiser this coming weekend. It's going to be a grand time, including a 🥞pancake breakfast.

The Outing Club is open Saturday, February 28th from 12-4 pm and 6-9pm.

Tomorrow we have a LOLLIPOP Race on Dub Hil at 1:30 Everyone is welcome to come race a few gates; finishers get a 🍭!

Super fun for the kids and great to watch.

Sunday we're open 12-4. The season has been great so far!
