Hello all,
It is with a heavy heart and regret that we will be closing the doors of 5 Rings Martial Arts effective November 1, 2019.
As many of you may have noticed, business has been slowing down over the last year or so. It has been a financial burden to keep 5 Rings open for a while now. With the lack of numbers and increasing expenses we had no choice but to close down. We have tried our best to turn things around. Unfortunately it did not work out as planned.
Furthermore, Sifu Tom's injuries due to a recent accident has made it extremely difficult and painful for him to run classes. He has tried his best to keep 5 Rings going, despite the advice of doctors. Ultimately, his doctors instructed him that, in order to prevent further and potentially permanent damage, he will have to stop physical activity indefinitely.
We have cancelled all payments earlier this month in order to do our best to provide fair services that were paid for the month of October. Please contact us if there are any problems and we will do our best to rectify.
In conclusion, we would like to thank all of you for your continued support and friendship over the years. Words cannot express the gratitude and privilege it has been to teach all of you.
To our parents:
Thank you for entrusting us to teach your children these past 7 years. Some of you have been with us from the beginning. It has been an amazing experience to witness our students grow from children into young adults. We hope we have added something positive to their lives. We have always done our best to teach them with open hearts and pour every ounce of knowledge we had into our classes.
This has been an amazing experience for us. It is one that we will both never forget and carry in our hearts for the rest of our lives. The laughs, conversations, friendships that were made... We wish you all the best of luck and health going forward.
To our Students (past and present):
It was an honor to be your instructors. We are so very proud of all of you. We sincerely hope you have enjoyed training with us and our company for these past years. You have taught us as much as we have taught you.
We urge you to never stop training. This is a lifetime journey. Never stop. Seek out new places to train...new methods. Don't forget what we have taught you. Take the hits, get up, hit back. Not just on the mat, but in life.
Thank you all for the years.
With much love and respect,
Sifu Anthony Buzantian
