Warm up your hip flexors before starting into lower body exercises or work on mobility with band assisted reverse lunges. Try to work on gradually extending the hip a little more with each rep.

Stay Fit for Adventure!

Behold a stunning snapshot from one of our client Kathy's recent hikes along the scenic west coast of Ireland, which also happens to be my homeland. Kathy's fitness journey began with the goal of enhancing her hiking experiences, but it has also proven to be a valuable asset in her everyday life.

Band assisted lower body mobility/warm-up movement. Lowering with the help of a band is a great way to stretch your adductors as it takes some of the load off. Pushing back at the bottom of the squat loosens out the hamstrings. Several slow controlled reps before a long hold on the last rep are worth trying.
