🇺🇸 9.11.01 — NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸

2️⃣5️⃣ years later, it is still the day that changed our country forever.

Yesterday, we gathered as a team in our locker room to talk about September 11, 2001 — a day that none of our players were alive to witness. In fact, only the coaches in the room were alive when our country was attacked on our own soil.

💔 We remembered the nearly 3,000 men and women who lost their lives that day.

🚒🚔🚑 We remembered the firefighters, police officers, first responders, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger when everyone else was trying to get out. Men and women who entered those towers knowing they might not come back out, but went anyway with one mission:

✅️ Get one more person out.

That's sacrifice.
That's courage.
That's what it means to be a teammate.

🪖 We remembered and gave thanks for the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who answered the call in the years that followed — including those who made the ultimate sacrifice serving our country.

🤝 We also talked about how united America became in the days after 9/11. Differences suddenly didn't seem so important. We were Americans. We prayed together. We mourned together. We stood together. 🇺🇸

One day changed our country forever.

25 years later, it's our responsibility to make sure the next generation understands what happened, remembers those we lost, and honors those who sacrificed.

Always Remember. Never Forget.

🏀 LEADERSHIP SERIES — SESSION I 🔥

2️⃣1️⃣ players. 4️⃣ coaches. Everyone got better thanks to Tim Dantas and Jimmy Kline of Mr. Pave. .pave_usa

Tim kicked off the afternoon by sharing his story — a young man from Brazil who made his way to the 🇺🇸, played college 🏀 at King’s College, and eventually landed in Lynchburg to finish school at .

He found success at a young age in medical device sales before eventually hitting 🪨 bottom. But God opened another🚪. A budding friendship helped lead to the start of MP and the next chapter of his life.

A story of success, adversity, perseverance, and faith in the Lord 🙏.

Tim’s first message to our guys was simple:
✔️ SHOW UP.
✔️ Show up on time.
✔️ Show up for your teammates.
✔️ Show up ready to work.
✔️ Just show up.

His Leadership Non-Negotiables:
1️⃣ Trust
2️⃣ Leaders Produce Leaders
3️⃣ Integrity

💪 Jimmy built on Tim’s message — keep pushing forward, even when the chips are stacked against you. Trust that God has a plan.

📈 After a successful career in pharmaceutical sales, Jimmy took a leap of faith on Tim and Mr. Pave. A longtime friendship, shared values, and the opportunity to be part of something special pulled him into the unfamiliar world of contracting.

🗣 His message to our guys: Character matters. Hold your teammates accountable. And plow through the tough times.

Those lessons tie directly into the 3️⃣ core values Mr. Pave lives by every day:

🏀 LEADERSHIP SERIES — SESSION I

Our first Leadership Series session is this Thursday, and we’re excited to welcome Tim Dantas and Jimmy Kline to pour into our guys!

Tim is the Founder & CEO of Mr. Pave, a Lynchburg-based company he founded in 2019 that has grown throughout Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic. A Liberty University graduate and entrepreneur, Tim has built his businesses around quality, integrity, safety, developing people, and making an impact in the community.

Jimmy brings a different perspective — a high-performing medical sales professional, 2025 National Rep of the Year, longtime youth basketball coach, and new member of the Mr. Pave team. He’s also the father of LCA senior Eli Kline. His experience in sales, coaching, competition, and developing people makes him a great fit for what we want our guys to hear.

This will be our first time bringing in two speakers together — giving them the opportunity to tag-team the conversation, share their stories, and challenge our guys on leadership, culture, work ethic, relationships, life, and more.
