A formal press release is forthcoming tonight, but for the second time this year - the 'Biddle Ridley Memorial' at North Georgia Speedway has been rained out. Just too much wet weather in the forecast for Thursday, June 18 in Chatsworth, Georgia 👎

Several items of interest:

* The $2,000 to win Schaeffer's Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series portion of the program will be postponed (yet again) to Friday, June 26.

* The $7,553 to win Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Series portion of the program will be postponed (yet again) to Saturday, July 11.

* The $2,500 to win, 100-lap Southern Nationals Enduro race has been canceled. The next Enduro event will be Saturday, July 4 at Sugar Creek Raceway.

* With the rain-out of Thursday's event, North Georgia Speedway will now run a REGULAR show this Saturday, June 20. All weekly classes will be in action on Saturday including North Georgia Late Models, 604 Late Models, 602 Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, FWD, Stock FWD, & Pony.

Effective June 1, 2026, the following fuels are the only fuels allowed during competition with the Schaeffer's Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series.

Base Racing Fuel: R10, R85
Fuel Factory: FE1, F110
Renegade Racing Fuels: Pro E85, Pro 110, Track 110
Sunoco Race Fuels: E85-R, 110
VP Racing Fuel: X85, X85L, 110
Regular Pump E85, 93 found at gas stations like Speedway, Sheetz, etc.

Racers will be asked which one of these different fuels they are running and we will be taking random samples at the track. Any fuels found not meeting the manufacturer’s specs will result in a disqualification. This new rule will give us the best ability to check fuel, while also keeping costs down for the racer. (BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) After three straight rain-outs, the cars and stars racing with the Schaeffer's Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series are finally staring at a promising weather forecast on Friday, May 29 for a visit to Travelers Rest Speedway. A $2,000 winner’s check will be up for grabs in round six of the tour tomorrow night in the Palmetto State. So far in 2026, Wyatt Coffey (Screven Motor Speedway), Cody Overton (Screven Motor Speedway), Bryson Hickman (I-75 Raceway), Nick Deitz (Laurens County Speedway), and Dawson Lowe (North Georgia Speedway) have all secured Red Clay 602 Late Model Series triumphs.

Joining the 602 Late Models on the racing card will be the Pure Stock, Thunder Bomber, FWD, Crown Vic, and Renegade Sportsman divisions. The pits and the grandstands both open at 5:00pm with the drivers meeting set for 7:00pm. Grandstand admission will be $20.00 for adults and FREE for kids ages 10 and under. Pit admission will be $35.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids ages 10 and under.

The Schaeffer's Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series schedule fires back up this Saturday, May 23 at North Georgia Speedway. The annual running of the ‘Biddle Ridley Memorial’ is slated for Saturday night at the Chatsworth, Georgia facility and a $2,000 winner’s check will be on the line for the 602 stars.

On Saturday at North Georgia, the pit gates will open at 3:00pm and the grandstands will start to allow fans into the storied facility an hour later at 4:00pm. The drivers meeting is scheduled for 5:30pm and cars will hit the racetrack at 6:00pm for hot laps. Adult grandstand admission will be $25.00, while kids ages 5-11 will be admitted into the stands for $15.00. A pit pass for adults will be $45.00, while kids ages 5-11 will be allowed into the pit area for $25.00. Children ages 4 and under are FREE in both the grandstands and the pits.
