I'm going to share too much information, but lots of people have asked what's going on with my health.
About 6 months ago I started having pretty severe spinal cord pain. Fast forward to September and I'm meeting with a brain & spinal cord surgeon. He explained that I may have brain cancer. Talk about a heart stopper! He sent me for numerous X-rays and MRI imaging. Good news... I don't have cancer! However I do have MS and it is being very aggressive and brain damage is found on the MRI. I have MS... I'm very happy because MS won't kill me.
I next met with a neurologist that is the #1 doc for MS in VA. He set me up on an injection I'll take monthly for the rest of my life. He warned me that the first 3 shots will give me the worst flu symptoms I've ever felt. The manufacturer of the injection called and also warned me how bad I'll feel after the first 3 shots. I took the first shot last night and sure enough at 2:30am I woke up puking and sick as a dog.
MS affects everyone differently. Mine is currently very aggressive. I'm writing all this so y'all will understand that the gun shop will have days I'm closed when I should be open. I'll be there every day, but if I'm closed you can bet I'm having a very bad, sick day. I'll be out of the 3 weeks soon and hopefully the remaining shots won't be as bad. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause my gun people, but it's the cards I've been dealt for now.
