From Axis to the ACC. This is what the work is for.

We’re incredibly proud to congratulate Bella on her commitment to continue her academic and athletic career at the University of Pittsburgh! Pitt competes at the NCAA Division I level in the ACC, and Bella has earned the opportunity to take her game to that next stage.

The hours nobody sees.
The reps when nobody’s watching.
The long days.
The sacrifices.
The coaching.
The setbacks.
The showing up again anyway.

They all add up to moments like this.

Bella, it’s been a privilege to be one small part of your journey. Watching you put in the work, continue developing as an athlete, and chase something this big is exactly why we do what we do.

And the best part?

The work isn’t finished. It’s just moving to Pittsburgh.

Congratulations, Bella. You earned this opportunity, and the entire Garage Crew is cheering you on as you take the next step.

Strong. Confident. Prepared.

Now go show the ACC what you can do.

The goal of rehab isn't to become really good at rehab exercises.

Eventually, things need to look more like your sport.
Faster.
Heavier.
More explosive.
Less predictable.

Because nobody blows a whistle during a game and says: “Hang on. Let them get perfectly positioned first.”

We like data.

Not because charts make us look fancy but because measuring performance helps us answer important questions:

Where are you now?
Where are your biggest opportunities?
Is the training working?
Are you actually ready to progress?

Testing gives us information. Training gives us change. And together, they help us make better decisions for our athletes.

Some things are bigger than training.

We are incredibly proud to be a part of Hero Games 2026—an event built around grit, teamwork, sacrifice, and, most importantly, remembering the heroes behind the names.
Hero Games is a 6–8 hour, team-based challenge inspired by Special Operations training. Competitors move through physically and mentally demanding events across varied terrain, carrying a 45 lb. ruck and relying on their team to get through it. There are no podiums. No divisions. The standard is simple: start together, finish together.

But the workout isn't the reason we're showing up. Each year, Hero Games Charity brings a Special Operations Gold Star Family to Bedford for an all-expenses-paid week dedicated to preserving the legacy of their fallen Operator. This year, the Games honor SGT Joel Clarkson, a Ranger who died in 2010 following wounds sustained on his fifth deployment. Today, we'll have the privilege of being part of a community coming together to push hard, serve a bigger purpose, and honor a life and legacy that deserves to be remembered.

At Axis, we talk a lot about building people who are strong, confident, and prepared.
This weekend, those words mean a little more. We're proud to stand alongside Hero Games Charity, the competitors, volunteers, veterans, first responders, community members, and—most importantly—the Clarkson family.

We show up. We do hard things. We remember why.

Today, we remember...

We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the service members who answered the call, the families who carried unimaginable loss, and the countless acts of courage and compassion that followed.

September 11th is a reminder that strength isn’t always measured by how fast we move, how much we lift, or how well we perform. Sometimes, strength looks like courage. Sacrifice. Service. And standing together when it matters most.

Today, we pause to honor those we lost, those who served, and those whose lives were forever changed.

We will never forget.

Agility training isn't just running around cones really fast.

True agility requires an athlete to:
-See something
-Process it
-React
-Change direction

Your sport isn't pre-planned. Your training shouldn't always be either.

We build athletes who can move AND react.

Can you prevent every sports injury? No. And anyone promising you that probably also has some oceanfront property in Kansas they'd like to sell you.

But can we help athletes develop qualities that make them better prepared for the demands of their sport?
Absolutely. Strength. Capacity. Movement skills. Progressive exposure. Recovery.

Good training isn't about wrapping athletes in bubble wrap. It's about preparing them.

Because the body doesn’t magically become a different body when rehab ends.

Your injury history matters when you train.

Your performance goals matter when you rehab.

And the transition between the two shouldn’t feel like being dropped off a cliff with a resistance band and a “good luck.” 😂

At Axis, it’s one continuum:

REHAB → STRENGTH → PERFORMANCE

What are you training for?

Making varsity? Getting your starting spot back? Running your first race? Returning after surgery? Hitting a PR? Or simply feeling like an athlete again?

Your goal doesn't have to look like anyone else's.

It just needs to matter to you.
Tell us yours. 👇

We're not interested in “good enough.”

We want the injured athlete to trust their body again. We want the developing athlete to discover what they're capable of. We want the competitive athlete to walk onto the field knowing they've prepared for the demands ahead. And we want the adult athlete to keep doing the things that make them feel strong, capable, and alive.

We believe rehab and performance belong together. We believe training should have purpose. We believe athletes deserve more than cookie-cutter programs.

And yes… we believe you should do hard things to prove to yourself what you are still capable of.
