Meet Coach Sydney 🏊‍♀️

Coach Sydney has spent her life in the pool. From competitive swimming and competing at the state level in high school to now coaching with the Lynchburg Aquatic Club, swimming has always been a big part of her story.

After a shoulder injury brought her competitive swimming career to an early end, Sydney found a new way to stay connected to the sport she loves — coaching.

Now, as she's settling into her time with LAC, she’s loving every minute of getting to know her swimmers, sharing her passion for the sport, and helping them get better, get faster, and reach their goals.

We’re so excited to have Coach Sydney on deck with the Lynchburg Aquatic Club and can’t wait to see what this season has in store! 💙

Meet Coach Morgan 🏊‍♀️

From growing up in Pittsburgh to swimming at Liberty University, Coach Morgan has spent years learning, competing, and growing through the sport she now gets to share with the next generation.

With four years of coaching experience and opportunities to coach at swim camps across the country, Morgan brings a unique perspective to the pool. Combining her experience as a swimmer with her passion for teaching, injury prevention, strength training, and helping athletes become stronger both in and out of the water.

We’re excited to have Coach Morgan on deck with the Lynchburg Aquatic Club and can’t wait to see what this season has in store!

5 years. Over 20 seconds dropped. One very deserving Champ Belt. Rome has been putting in the work and it shows. From finding a surprising edge in the 200 free to making serious strides in butterfly and backstroke (her personal favorite), her consistency and dedication speak for themselves. We’re so proud of you, Rome! Keep making waves. 🐺🏆💙

Get your swimmer ready to dive into summer competition with confidence! Whether your swimmer is new to competition or looking to sharpen their technique, this program focuses on the skills that matter most in races.

🏊 Program Highlights:
• 6-Week Program: April 13 – May 23
• Ages 4-16
• Choose your schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays OR Tuesdays & Thursdays
• Prerequisite: swimmers must be able to swim one full length of the pool independently (this is not a swim lesson)

🔥 Focus Areas:
• Explosive starts
• Faster, cleaner turns
• Proper racing protocols & finishes

This program is the perfect tune-up before summer swim season—helping swimmers feel faster, sharper, and more confident at the starting blocks. Mark your calendars as registration for Summer Tune Up opens March 1st!
