And with that…the 2026 Marlin swim season has come to an end!
As I look at this photo, I don't just see swimmers; I see friendships, confidence, determination, laughter, and a community that continues to grow stronger every single year.
This little team is overflowing with energy, personality, and heart. Every practice, every race, every cheer from the sidelines has helped shape something much bigger than a swim team. It's become a family.
I couldn't be more proud of what our swimmers accomplished this season. A huge thank you to our incredible coaches who poured countless hours into teaching, encouraging, correcting, and believing in every swimmer. Your dedication showed in the results. We finished the season with the fewest disqualifications we've had in years, proving that hard work and attention to detail truly pay off.
And yesterday's B Meet was one for the books, our team dropped an incredible 1 minute and 58 seconds collectively! That's not luck. That's commitment, growth, and kids believing in themselves.
More than the times or ribbons, this season gave us something even more valuable: hope. Hope that our Marlins family will continue to grow. Hope that the community we're building is something special. Hope that next season will be even bigger, stronger, and filled with even more smiling faces.
To every swimmer, parent, volunteer, coach, and supporter, thank you for making this season unforgettable. You are what makes the Marlins so special.
