This weekend wasn’t about podiums, points, or where I finished.

This weekend was about remembering a life taken way too soon.

Rest in peace, Jon Hansen. You were one of our own, and the motocross family will never forget you.

Thank you, brother, for stopping by my pits and having that talk with my dad and I before the Pro Am moto. I’ll carry that conversation with me and I’m grateful we got that moment together.

Sometimes this sport reminds us just how precious life is. We line up because we love to race, but at the end of the day, it’s the people beside us, the friendships we make, and the memories we leave behind that matter most.

Ride in peace, Jon.
