Recently, the LC Fishing Team was honored to once again help out at the Best Buddies fishing event at Simonar pond in Luxemburg. I do believe everyone had a great time!!!

15 high school teams, 8 junior teams. We managed a 6th place on the high school side and a 3rd place on the juniors side...

15 high school teams, 8 junior teams. We managed a 6th place on the high school side and a 3rd place on the juniors side. Both teams said they lost some key fish (it happens) but had a lot of fun on a tough (and weird) body of water.
Thank you to Zach and Tyler for volunteering their boats and their time and especially thank you to our sponsors that allow to financially be able to participate in these events!!

We have two teams fishing the TBF state championship tomorrow on Lake Puckaway.
Zach Burgess will be the boat captain for the high school team with Kaleb Balza and Carter Heurkens. Tyler Shanle will be the youth captain with Chloe Shanle and Finn Burgess.

Last tournament of the season on Shawano Lake for the team. The Angoer of the a year race was VERY tight. Turned out to be a beautiful day. Anglers brought in their best 3 fish, but some had trouble getting a limit with our shortened time because the Packer game is a big deal 🤣
Highlight of the day… Spencer Stein, hasn’t caught a keeper bass all year and brought in the winning bag with 8.1lbs!!
