Our 427 TT Series twin-turbocharged crate engines are some of our most highly developed, trouble-free packages to date. We can provide headers to fit your specific application, along with complete wiring, sensors, ECU, and a fully developed tune. Although we didn't find any cracks or water leaks, this is one way to pressure-test a block.
We use this plate to expose the center area between the sleeves, because a lot of times a crack can form between the sleeves and allow water to seep up between the cylinder liners.

It's crazy, but what's actually in my hand costs over $1,100. These little pieces are Mallory metal — basically tungsten alloy — and because of the war and material shortages, the cost has gone through the roof. So these days, when you have to use Mallory to balance a crankshaft, it can drive the balancing cost way up.

I always say it's like the Wild West in the automotive industry these days. Here's a perfect example of somebody clear across the world sending us a 3D scan of their engine bay. We designed a custom set of stainless headers around the scan, sent the file off to the "stainless toaster oven," and bam — one-piece 3D-printed stainless headers custom fit to a customer's car on the other side of the planet.
Pretty wild when you think about it. No traditional mockup car here, no shipping test parts back and forth across the world - just digital engineering, 3D scanning, and metal printing coming together to create a truly custom set of headers.
