click About to learn more. We are the University of Minnesota Duluth Alpine Ski Team. We have several full time coaches.

Actually, technically you would have to call us a club, due to the fact that we are not considered a sport by the college. The makeup of our team ranges from experienced High School, USSA, and FIS racers, to the more recreational racers. Everyone is welcome, and no one will be turned away. The experience is what you make of it. Everyone is responsible for themselves. We pay our own way from lift t

ickets to lodging to gas and snacks.. Sometimes our parents get together and have a barbecue at the races. Each year the team dues are around $150. This covers all of the USCSA (United States Collegiate Snowsports Association) National and the MCSA (Midwest Collegiate Ski Association) Regional Fees. The fee also covers a per race insurance fee that we have to pay as well. Our coaches are USSA certified and continue to pursue additional education to help the team get better! The USCSA Annual Conference is nearly here 🎉 and we hope YOU can join us! This is a great event and the best way to socialize, network, and swap stories with the people who make our season happen, from Student Reps to the National Board to Conference Coordinators to Committee Chairs.

Good Luck to the FIS racers this weekend at one of the only 3 run races in the US. We can't wait to see the results, good luck to all the athletes! We will see some of you next year!

This weekend, we're honored to host one of the most meaningful races on our calendar — the Tengdin Memorial Race.

This event is truly one of a kind: the only 3-run FIS ENL Slalom race in the world. But what makes it special goes far beyond the format.

The race honors DJ Tengdin and his father Bob, whose family legacy is deeply woven into the fabric of Buck Hill. This wasn’t just a place they raced, it was home. Their impact spans decades of racing, mentorship, community, and an enduring passion for the sport we all love. Hosting this race is our privilege, and we’re proud to celebrate their legacy together.

If you’re racing, volunteering, or cheering from the sidelines, we hope you’ll be part of it!
