Good morning everyone, I hope everyone is having a great summer!
I wanted to share with you an update to our event this year.
With my father's passing this past March, and his love for the game and the love of seeing the game grow with today's junior golfers. We've decided to change the name of the event to the:
John Bannon Junior Golf Classic
It will be operated the same as it always has, just with a new name and distinction!
The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday October 21-22 at Chesapeake Hills GC.
I'm working on the details now, but I'm hopeful this year we will be able to present 2 scholarships to junior golfers to use towards their college education. More details to come on this.
And with the new clubhouse in full motion and almost at the end of the completion stage, I'm hopeful we will be able to enjoy the amazing amenities it will have to offer for both our Champions Dinner on Friday, as well as our Awards dinner on Sunday.

Registration for the event will open on Friday August 4.
