Our Philosophy:

Establishing a positive relationship with the horse is vital to any training. Classical training and horsemanship focuses on establishing a positive contact with the horse, to allow for maximum communication and connection. We use these principles in all of the disciplines that we practice, from dressage and jumping, to training Western horses, Paso Finos, and Tennessee Walking Ho

rses, and Missouri Foxtrotters. These techniques produce a well-balanced horse that can think for himself and work with the rider as a partner, instead of the horse mechanically repeating actions in response to a cue without understanding why. Our methods also take into account all aspects of the horse - hoof care, chiropractic work, massage therapy, veterinary care, and nutrition. Riding is a sport that engages us wholly; our body, mind, and soul must work together in harmony with the body, mind, and soul of the horse. What comes of this is the inexpressible joy and perfection of movement and performance that is our ultimate goal.

LESSONS - We offer lessons for riders of all ages and skill levels on our experienced lesson horses, and we teach riders ages 3 and up. Adult beginners are welcome! Lessons available in English and Western. Contact us for info.
