Private and Group classes available - Location and class schedule to meet your needs. Cost of private class varies on your preferred location. Usually same fee if within the Golden Triangle. Minimum of three students for private class to be held outside of the Lumberton/Beaumont area. Scheduled Classes will be posted as events. For those that have little or no experience with handguns, or for those that want to brush up on their skills prior to attending the CHL class. Topics covered:
1. Firearm Safety
2. Proper grips and stance
3. Loading and unloading
4. Improve overall shooting skills

Fees:
First time CHL applicant - $100/student
Discounted CHL rates for active or retired Fire, EMS, Police, Military & Teachers - $85/student
CHL Renewals - $60/student
Basic handgun training - $50/student (1-2 hours)

Will start offering a new class in February in addition to the Concealed Handgun License class. The new classes are designed for those that are new to owning and shooting a pistol. These classes are highly recommended if you do not have any handgun experience. One myth of the CHL class is "I will learn how to shoot and operate a handgun in this class". That is not the intention of the CHL class. The CHL class is to teach you the laws/rules of carrying a concealed handgun and pass a written test. During the CHL class you prove to the instructor that you can pass a shooting proficiency test from 3,7 & 15 yards. After successful completion of the CHL class, you will meet the qualifications to apply to the state for your CHL. Course descriptions to follow.

First class will be on October 5th, from 9am - 1pm at the 1in100 gun club in Lumberton. To sign up please call the club at 755-6648 between 1pm - 7pm Wednesday - Friday or between 8am - 7pm Saturday/Sunday. I will post some class details and reminders as the date approaches. Will also post more class dates as they become available.

February 2nd class has been closed due to a large private class request on that date. There was no one signed up for that class at the time of this posting. I will schedule more open enrollment classes for February soon. If you have at least 10 people interested and would like a private class, you can email me at [email protected] or FB message me.

My next four classes (January 20,26,27 and February 2) are full. These are classes that individuals had enough family members and/or friends interested to request a private class. I will start scheduling open classes again soon. If you would like to schedule a private CHL class, my first available date is February 9. Minimum of 10 people to book a private class.

Tomorrows CHL class attendees - make sure to bring 50 rounds of ammunition for your handgun. If using mine, bring 50 rounds of .40 caliber (no aluminum cases). See you at my house at 9am.
