God is the designer of the plan…….

If I told you I decided to start a flower farm while sitting in the back seat of a car in the pouring rain, with tears streaming down my face. You would think I was joking.

But seriously, how could I be crying because I decided to start a flower farm? It makes no sense…But to a newly graduated high school girl, it does LOL.

It made sense because in that moment I had to let go of my vision of the future I had been pinning my hopes on.

My vision for Kathryn looked like. Taking high-end training, working in the back room of a floral shop in a small town for the next five years…See, that was my plan.

It sounds cliché when we say…God's plan is so much bigger than our plan for our lives. But if my life were a trial case, for that statement…WELL…. it would be true.

In my plan, I never envisioned myself…talking on live television, teaching children on ag tours, publishing a book, going on the radio, running two storefronts, teaching floral design classes all over Central Texas, hosting large Ag events at my farm, or writing for a magazine. But this was God's plan….His plan has me here today, and I had the audacity to cry about it!!!!

I know not every path we live is easy….But if God showed us the plan for our life, our faith would be in the PLAN, and not in HIM.
