MK Machining Bolt K**b Review
So once I seen MK machining made a 3-d printed bolt k**b I decided to pick one up and give it a try. I have been running a surgeon bolt k**b on my stiller tac30 for a while now and this one is a similar shape so why not give it a shot. My first impression was it's a lot lighter, and a lil bigger around and longer. None of which I think is a bad thing, I like how it's bigger and easier to find, but if that don't work for you then trim it, should be easy since it is plastic. Next was to mount it on my bolt, honestly it was kinda hard to get the threads started , they are 3D printed as well. Still it only took 5-10 seconds to make sure I was starting the threads correctly as to not cross thread, so not really hard to do just worried me a bit. Anyway It threaded up nicely and looks great! I would love to see some different colors as well, I predict they will ,judging from some of their other products. Finally I got in a prone position and started dry firing , really working the bolt hard between each trigger press . I have 1500 rounds through this rifle, and have dry fired with bolt manipulation on my old bolt k**b 2-3 times that amount. So it did feel a little weird at first , but I found I can run the bolt faster with the new k**b. I can tell it's lighter and it's a big plus for me for the bolt k**b to be bigger as well, really makes it easy to still find it if I try to push it faster. All in all it's seems very solid and I'm leaving it on my rifle , going to post some vids of me torture testing it soon, but I don't foresee have any issues. Rock solid and affordable, I would recommend it to anyone!
