Please be in prayers for our family. Sad to announce the passing of my father Toby Tarte. He has touched so many lives through sports, Tae Kwon Do and even with Nexus. I miss you dad.

Bitter sweet we had to close due to Dads health. Lots of blood, sweat and tears but most great memories. 34 years was a great run.

Farewell and Thank You from West Wateree Tae Kwon Do Center

After 33 wonderful years, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of West Wateree Tae Kwon Do Center. Due to illness in our family, we must now step away to focus on caring for our loved ones.

We are deeply grateful to every student, family, and community member who has walked through our doors over the years. You have not only been students, but also part of our extended family. Watching you grow in strength, discipline, confidence, and character has been one of the greatest honors of our lives. The memories we have built together — from first belts to black belts, tournaments to everyday practices — will forever be cherished.

Thank you for believing in us, supporting our school, and allowing us to be part of your journey. The spirit of perseverance, respect, and community that you have carried forward will always be the true legacy of West Wateree Tae Kwon Do.

Though this chapter is ending, the lessons, friendships, and bonds we have shared will live on. Please continue to move forward with integrity, courage, and a warrior’s heart.
