What a day!

What a driver!

What a race!

Gracie was great when she needed to be and we were lucky when we needed it!

Gracie was 0.0005 and in the teens most of the day! The car fought us all day, and Ive made more jet changes today than in the last 3 years...no joke! But we got there.

We had lots of help, from my good buddys Curtis Garceau and Sam Rufenacht.

We get to do it all again tomorrow!

We are ready to race next weekend. We will be at I30 Dragway for the Southwest Jr Dragster Series.

Our backup bullet finally made its debut after some time and so we are gonna put some passes on it.

Well, we hadn't planned it this way, but God has a funny way of working things out.

Today we were supposed to make our way to No Problem Raceway in Louisiana and race with SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series ....until work changed my travel plans on Wednesday. Gotta pay the bills! To say we are disappointed is an understatement. We were looking forward to Louisiana hospitality.

But, on a bright side, we will be racing with our local race family. Gracie is half a round out of first place considering this is double points. This is the last race of the season and its gonna be a lot of fun.

Tomorrow it goes down! Top 3 are within a round of each other and its gonna bea slug fest to the end.

Watch for updates tomorrow!

If you like it Hot and Muggy, Pine Valley was the place to race this weekend.

We had it all. Snakes on the return road, a catered taco dinner, a car show, a marriage proposal, a anniversary, a couple of birthdays, a parents race, fast Quick 16 cars, and some of the baddest drivers in the US duking it out, round after round.

First, a big CONGRATULATIONS to Chris Rogers and Amy Walker. So awesome to see yall take the next step. You two are some of the most genuine and caring people we know and that was the coolest proposal to see.

We struggled a little through the weekend on the bracket tree, but we started making some good strides today and went a few rounds this weekend.

On the flip side of that, Gracie came out swinging in Index. Pro Tree is her jam and she rattled off a 0.005 and 0.012 light in time trials. She carried that momentum into the semi-finals where she ran Timothy Tim Rivette and he got around her for the win. What a great way to start the day.

Later that evening, we rolled the quick 16 car out. We knew we'd be fast, but had made some clutch changes and were not sure where we would land......well, right off the trailer, we lined up with Emma Brian Heidkamp and her rocket ship. Holy smokes did these girls put on a show! Gracie laid down a 4.39 pass and Emma was slightly faster and then came back and backed it up in the other lane. As the cars left, both carried the front tires off the line. In the second time trial, Gracie cut a 0.046 light on a 4 tenths pro tree....which is a heck of a reaction. This set Gracie as the second fastest car on the property and number 2 qualifier on the pro ladder. We went out first round when Gracie left early, but man am I excited. There is more in the motor and as long as its repeatable, we are gonna push it. Watch for some low 4.30 passes coming soon.

It was great to be back at the track with our SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series family, although it was so hot, we didn't hang out much. Looking forward to Louisiana in a few weeks!

One last thing as I shut it down for the night.... Gary Foster do you have the points yet?....asking for a friendπŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

We are racing! SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series has invaded east Texas. Gracie did great this morning and made it down to 3 drivers (semi finals) and was on the wrong side of the light.

Its been a while since we've seen our SouthWest Jr family, and its great to be out here with them!
