You're welcome. If it comes back as any kind of disease, it's incredibly unlikely to be anything that would have a major impact to the turkey population. I wouldn't sweat it if I were you or anyone that hunts turkeys around there. I'm certainly not sweating it myself, and not because I don't care, but rather because Ive never seen a case of a sick acting turkey in NW LA end up turning to any kind of population level problem for wild turkeys. Not saying it's impossible something like that could happen someday, but it's not happened yet and not likely.
Turkey populations tend to be way more impacted by other factors like good habitat in an area / lack of good habitat, high predator populations especially nest predators like raccoons and skunks, abnormally wet springs that end up hurting reproduction due to poor poult survival, etc. The 2-3 I know of in NW LA that we've tested in the past that actually had a disease of some kind were just something that we noted, but I've not seen it have any significant impacts on the populations in those area. Heck we've never tested one and then had another pop up in the same area to test anytime soon that I know of. For that matter, the fact that I only know of a handful of potentially sick turkeys in NW LA that we've submitted for testing in my 23 1/2 years with LDWF is a pretty good indication we've never had any disease that's run rampant in our turkey population in this part of the state.
That's way more info than you asked for, but I hated to just say nah no results, but don't sweat it. I figured additional background info for perspective, so you'd understand why I'm not sweating it, might provide some peace of mind.
