Guess what? It’s okay to need help. It’s okay to need accountability. It’s okay to need support.

Ive had fitness coaches, nutrition coaches, & even recently had a mentor coach as a coach myself— & I’ve been in the coaching industry for almost 15 years. 🤯

Nutrition coaching that supports your lifestyle is key. What works for everyone else might not work for you. It’s okay to need individualized coaching. Stop with the quick fixes— Seriously, just stop. Nothing that’s quick will last. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Stop with the excuses and commit to a LIFESTYLE— be in this for the long haul. Let me help you learn to lead that life as we stack habits and learn to make your health journey a different way of thinking that will create lasting change.

You might see boring with these meal/food pictures— I see sustainability and foods that I enjoy and actually have learned to crave. That can be you too!

Looking to add a couple of nutrition clients. Reach out & let’s get started. 🙌🏼👏🏼

Tell me in the comments!
💪🏼= love to workout on vacation.
👎🏼= no workout! Rest & Relaxation all the way.

This is not me saying one is right and one is wrong. I’m honestly just curious!

I am 💯% a 💪🏼.

This is why:
-I like to stay on my routine. I wake up early just like at home— this gives me the chance to watch the beach sunrise if at the beach and then I hit a workout right after while it’s still cool outside. I try to keep the workout right around an hour or less. This way it’s not interrupting family time.

-My energy level is its best when I move first thing in the morning. This makes my entire day more enjoyable.

-My body feels its best when I move some. My joints and muscles feel their best when I have exercised.

-I’m an introvert to the core. The quiet mornings are good for me and my mental health. If I give myself that quiet time, I can be better for those around me.

-Starting the day with something challenging and uncomfortable makes me feel like I’ve won the day. Everything else I do is extra at that point.

-I sleep better! Sleeping in different places other than my own bed is rough for me! However, when I workout, I am able to get better quality sleep. Staying in a routine with working out, helps with the different sleeping situation for sure.

Tips for working out on vacation:
1. If you are able to take some equipment, do it! It’s not necessary, but gives you more options. My favorite pieces to take are resistance bands. You can do so much with bands and they take up very little space. I took 2 bands (one small and one large), two Dumbbells (15 # & 25 #), & a 65 # already filled sandbag. Thinking back, I could have taken it empty and filled it there, & emptied it before we left but we had the truck and plenty of space to take it back and forth as is.

2. Add tempo and pauses to your movements. This makes everything more challenging and requires you to use less weight. It also teaches you patience, makes you focus more on the area you’re isolating, & forces you to brace your core and whatever area you’re isolating more!

3. Have towels or a blanket to perform your workout on especially if completing it on the beach.

4. DO not be embarrassed or self-conscious to be different or look different on the beach or wherever you’re fitnessing. I’ve done workouts on sidewalks, campgrounds, beaches, & balconies. You should be PROUD that you’re showing up for yourself. You will get stares and sometimes questions, but you never know who you might be inspiring along the way.

If you have questions, drop them below & I will try my best to answer! If you need help with workouts for your next vacation, reach out! I’d love to help and guide you through.

Breakfast is my favorite meal! This right here is my go-to. Egg whites & one whole egg scrambled, protein oats, topped with fresh Strawbs, and a peanut butter/coconut oil mixture— & of course coffee with 1st phorm unflavored collagen. Comment “proats” below and I’ll send you directions on how to make these tasty protein oats!

Started the day with a big workout session, followed by a big breakfast, devotions, & hopefully soaking up some sun today.

This teacher is in BIG summer mode. 😎☀️

Have an awesome day, friends! 🩷

Hey, friends!

With it being vacation season, I thought I’d share some quality tips for eating while trying to enjoy yourself.

First of all, if you’re someone who has been making better choices and trying to lose weight before a vacation, my question to you would be why would you do all of that work and then fall off the wagon for an entire week and lose all progress you worked for?

If you’re someone who consistently makes good choices and you’re simply eating to be healthy, why would you leave for vacation, start eating completely different and then not feel your best during a time when you want to have fun and enjoy yourself? The last thing you want is to feel bloated or have digestive issues.

For our latest beach trip, we drove. We normally do a grocery run when we get there, but this time we decided to shop before we left and then took everything we wanted with us! If you have the space for this, I suggest it! No grocery trip after a long day of traveling and being exhausted. We knew we didn’t want to eat out for every meal.. just too expensive and to be honest, I feel awful when I eat out, it throws me all out of whack!

One of the things I did differently this time was I cooked up a few things ahead of time and placed them in gallon freezer bags and froze them! I worked on this each evening the week leading up to our trip. My focus was on PROTEIN. When I’m vacationing, I try to focus on getting the protein I need each day and I’m a little more relaxed on carbs and fats. So, I chose to prep protein options! I froze them so that the food would be good all week and that way I wasn’t cooking the day before or day of leaving. The frozen bags also were like ice packs for our other cooler foods! Win win.

Here is what I prepped:
-taco seasoned ground chicken
-beef spaghetti sauce and protein penne pasta
-instant pot shredded chicken

Here is what I took to eat with those foods listed above and some other foods I took to give me the protein I needed:
-:90 rice
-reduced fat sour cream
-hot sauce
-carbsmart tortillas
-high protein yogurt
-premier protein shakes
-protein powder
-protein bars
-lunchmeat
-eggs and egg whites
-kodiak cakes protein oats

We only ate out ONCE while at the beach & it was something I looked forward to all week and we enjoyed ourselves without being restrictive or holding back. The meal I got was a grilled seafood platter & it was amazing! It is important to enjoy your food! I feel better about splurging when I know it’s
for ONE meal and not 10-15 meals during a vacation. It is possible to not rely on restaurant food and to make better choices the whole trip! Now, if we would have flew, things may have looked differently, but ultimately could make similar choices with a grocery run and a little time spent in the kitchen while there.

I get that some people want to be more relaxed on vacation & enjoy restaurants with the people they love, but I will tell you, you can do both and still make good/better choices.

I hope my vacationing tips were helpful! Reach out with any questions!
