The Showdown Series is making a few adjustments to its September schedule as we look ahead to an even bigger October weekend!

The September 18th event at Ace Speedway will not take place, allowing the track to make up local division races lost to weather earlier this season. With Dillon Motor Speedway racing September 19th, the Series and Carteret County Speedway have also mutually agreed to remove the Showdown Series races from that evening’s schedule. Legends will still be racing at Carteret for local points.

Both decisions were made together with our track partners, and we appreciate Ace Speedway and Carteret County Speedway for working with us. We look forward to bringing the Showdown Series back to both facilities for future events!

Now, the Showdown Series will prepare to visit Anderson Motor Speedway on October 2nd & 3rd, and we’re making the weekend bigger! Drivers will have THREE races over two days, including one National Qualifier on Friday AND one Saturday! That means two opportunities to earn a qualifier on the final weekend for points!

We’re excited to pack even more racing into Anderson and can’t wait to see everyone there!
