Bay of Fundy International Marathon Run with us Sunday June 20, 2027

Campobello Island, New Brunswick Canada and Lubec, Maine USA | Marathon | Half Marathon | 10K

We are a small, select, community organized not-for-profit cross-border race between Canada and the USA featuring the best of Downeast Maine and the Atlantic Maritime Islands. Two friendly and supportive communities and fantastic scenery; whales, bald eagles and other wildlife; cool June temperatures with ocean breezes from the Bay of Fundy - home of the biggest tides in the world and over some of which you run; awards and medals hand crafted by local artists; technical tee shirts; and border guards who just wave you through during the race. The 2025 race weekend includes a marathon and half marathon! More details of weekend events to come :)

Incredible fundraising efforts by our Charity Bib Runners and donations from runners this year!

Thanks to 33 dedicated charity bib runners and over 150 generous donations, they raised an amazing $15,500 for the inaugural year of this program!

Over $22,000 was fundraised for local organizations across Campobello Island and Lubec! 💙 The fundraising and donations don't stop there either! Another $2,500 was fundraised for the Travel Club of Campobello Island Consolidated School and the 8th Grade class of 2027 at Lubec Elementary School through their meals over race weekend!

None of this would be possible without our incredible runners, generous donors, and amazing sponsors! 🙏

Thank you for running with purpose and giving back to the communities on both sides of the border! 🇨🇦🇺🇸

The Bay of Fundy International Marathon wouldn't be possible without the support of Canada Border Services Agency, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Washington County Sheriff's Department, RCMP, New Brunswick Ambulance, Washington County Regional Communications Center staff (Cindy R.!), Lubec Fire Department, Lubec Public Works Department, Whiting Volunteer Fire Department, nurses from Campobello Island, Downeast EMS, Machias Ambulance and many more behind the scenes agencies and departments!!
