Most people see the camps, the leagues, the games, and the trainings.
What they don’t see are the early mornings, late nights, phone calls, meetings, and years spent investing in kids and building opportunities for athletes across Lubbock and the surrounding communities.
For years, Coach AD has poured his time, energy, and heart into helping young athletes grow not just as players, but as people. His mission has always been bigger than basketball. It’s about creating opportunities, building confidence, and creating a place where kids can develop and belong.
That’s why we’re incredibly excited to see him step into the role of Partner and General Manager of The Forge Athletic Complex.
But this vision wasn’t built by one person alone.
We want to congratulate the entire team of individuals who have spent years dreaming, planning, collaborating, and working behind the scenes to bring The Forge to life. This project is a reflection of countless hours, shared vision, and a commitment to creating something special for our community.
The Forge will feature 6 full-size basketball courts and 9 volleyball courts, creating new opportunities for athletes, teams, leagues, tournaments, camps, and year-round competition throughout West Texas. Construction is set to begin this July, with doors expected to open in early 2027.
The Forge is more than a building. It’s an investment in athletes, families, coaches, & the future of youth sports in our region!
CONGRATS to everyone involved in making this vision a reality. We can’t wait to welcome athletes, families, and the entire community to our new home gym.
