🎃 Weekend Weather Update - Halloween Edition ⚽

Mother Nature might have a few tricks up her sleeve this weekend!

LSA will be evaluating field conditions Saturday morning. Any cancellations or field closures will be announced by 8:00 AM.

Be sure to watch for updates via email, text, and Facebook.

A little rain won't haunt us — please plan to play as scheduled! Rain alone doesn't cancel games, our main concerns are standing water, field conditions, and player safety.

Heads up: The C fields (U9/U10) are a little more prone to flooding and will get extra attention during our morning check. Other fields may still be good to go even if it's a bit muddy.

⚡ Lightning Procedure - No tricks here, safety first:
• Air horn sounds = all games stop • Everyone heads to their vehicles • 30-minute delay minimum • If more lightning strikes, the clock restarts • LSA will let you know if games resume or are canceled
Please don't return to the fields until you get the all-clear from LSA.

Thanks for rolling with the tricks and treats of fall weather — good luck to all our players, and happy early Halloween!

All U9 and U10 teams need to review the schedule for this weekend.

Due to field conditions, we are unable to play on all but one C field tomorrow.

We will be unable to change the new times, due to field availability, and play off schedules.

Thank you all for your patience, flexibility, and understanding!

⚽️ Happy National Coaches Day! ⚽️

Today we want to give a HUGE shoutout to all of the coaches who give their time, energy, patience, and passion to our Lubbock Soccer Association players! 💙

You’re doing so much more than teaching soccer. You’re teaching teamwork, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, and how to be a good teammate. You’re there for the wins, the losses, the rainy Saturdays, the tough practices, the “one more time!” moments, and everything in between. 😂⚽️

Our league simply would not be possible without the countless hours our coaches volunteer for our kids. Thank you for showing up, leading by example, and making a difference in the lives of our players.

To every LSA coach — we appreciate you today and every day! 👏⚽️

💙 Happy National Coaches Day! 💙

⚽️ **WEEK 3 GAME DAY REMINDERS** ⚽️

We have **TWO leagues playing at the same time**, which means heavy traffic and busy fields. Please plan ahead and allow extra time!

🚨 **PARKING**
• **NO parking on the grass**
• **NO triple parking**
• **DO NOT block another vehicle in**
• Park only in designated areas
• **Parking control is issuing tickets and parking rules are being enforced.**

⚽️ **BEHIND THE GOALS**
**Spectators AND coaches may NOT stand, sit, pace or coach from behind the goals while play is taking place.**

Please stay in the designated spectator areas along the sidelines. This is a **player safety issue** and helps referees and coaches manage the game.

💧 **WATER BREAKS**
Referees will call water breaks when appropriate, especially in warm weather. Please make sure your player has plenty of water.

🚗 **DRIVE SAFELY**
Please drive slowly through the complex and watch carefully for children and pedestrians. There will be **a LOT of traffic** before, during and after games.

📣 **PARENT CONDUCT**
Support your player, but please allow coaches and referees to do their jobs. Respectful behavior is expected from everyone.

Thank you for helping us keep game days **safe, organized and enjoyable for everyone!** ⚽️
