TYS IS CLOSING SEPTEMBER 18.

When I started TYS 14 years ago teaching­­ in a storage unit, on home patios, and in garages, I had no ‘exit strategy.’

I started from scratch. My first students didn’t even know what down dog was!

My goal wasn’t to get rich and sell out. It was to help people discover the life-changing path to yoga—a practice that has done so much to change and improve my own life.

Even though I had no exit strategy, I would not have expected that what would finally close TYS was a global pandemic.

Try as we might, with tremendous support from the TYS community, the studio never quite recovered from the initial hit. Coupled with increasing costs and a less than ideal location, it was more than our sweet studio could handle as a business.

So, while it breaks my heart to close TYS, we’re out of options. But, I’m not giving up, just giving in. Accepting what is.

With that said, our last day of classes will be Saturday, September 18, 2021. Brynn and team members will be teaching a farewell class at 9:45 am.

Current memberships have already been prorated with an ending date of September 17th. No action is needed on your part. If you have further questions, please email us at [email protected].

This was not an easy decision to make, but all signs pointed towards it. TYS has been home to love, laughter, change, possibility, and plenty of challenges over the years. I’ve grown in ways I could never have imagined starting out and watched others do the same. The impact we all have made for ourselves and others is immeasurable. I am honored and forever grateful for each student that crossed my path.

And now we’ll continue to grow but on a different path.
