State track meet this weekend. Bella Gable, Halle Baker and Amberly Detterline all competed as District 5 champions.

I got a couple pictures of Halle’s last triple jump. She has had a great career, has won a bunch of district medals and will be missed.

Bella Gable threw shot for the last time. She has been a dominant thrower the past three years, especially in shot put.

Amberly has another year to get back to states, possibly in multiple events. She was our teams leading scorer this year, excelling in jumps and winning districts in javelin.

Also, a shout out to Coach Brittany Beach. She has coached 5 of the last 12 district champs in girls throws, including at least one in all three throwing events. She consistently has girls improving, competing and winning.

District 5 place winners from tonight’s meet! Out of our 20 girls, 12 of them got on the podium tonight. Great job girls!!

4th place - Girls 3200 relay (Aubrey Holsinger, Lily Miller, Alyssa Yeatts, May Ritchey)
5th place - 1600 - Carsen Miller
6th place - 300 hurdles - McKenna Reasy
6th place - Girls 400 relay (Hannah Yeatts, Ava Verbit, Avery Smith, Halle Baker)

District 5 Champion!!

Bella Gable won the shot put at the district 5 meet tonight. Bella also finished 6th in the discus.

Halle Baker won the triple jump at the district 5 meet tonight! She also ran in the 6th place 4x100 team.

ICC Championships! It was a good day for a number of our track and field athletes.

We had three ICC champions! Bella Gable won the shot put with a personal best throw of 37-6. Halle Baker won the triple jump with a jump of 33-5 and Chris Corle won the 3200 with a time of 10:42.15. Congrats to these three champions!

Also placing in the ICC meet:

4th: Dustin O'Brian - Shot put
4th: Rooster Foor - Pole Vault

Also, just missing placing were Weston Hart (7th in 1600) and Zach Koontz (7th in 110 hurdles).

Congrats to Bella and Halle! Bella signed to throw at Clarion University and Halle signed to jump at University of Pitt Johnstown. Those two schools are each getting a great kid.

Senior Night in the books! Our girls picked up wins over Everett, S Fulton and Tussey. Our boys beat Tussey but lost to Everett and S Fulton.

With the three wins, our girls finish their dual meet season with a record of 9 wins and 2 losses. Going back to last year, our girls have now won 17 of their last 20 dual meets. They have strong competitors in all areas and have lots of girls who can be counted on to score points.

Our seniors will be missed Halle, Bella, Sarah, Alyssa, Dustin and D’Angelo have been steady members of the team for four years. Adam csme back after missing time with injuries and Ben came back after a year off. All have contributed to our program.
