Meet our team!
•Drummer is our senior dog, and is full of love!
Drummer is a FDSB registered Llewellyn Setter. We traveled to Virginia for this guy, and he was well worth it! His performance in the field is one you’ll have to see.
•Patch is full of energy, and absolutely loves to hunt. With his nose to the ground the whole time working hard to find that bird. Patch is a IPDBA & AKC registered Llewellyn Setter. He’s participated and placed in NSTRA field trials. Patch came from Kentucky!
•Beau was born to hunt, and boy does he live for it! He loves to hunt close, and to be your partner while in the field. He holds his point beautifully until he knows your bird is down. He hunts for you, and loves to make his hunter happy! Beau is a AKC performance registered Llewellyn Setter and has also preformed and placed in NSTRA filed trials! Beau came from Mississippi.
•Ella is our only girl, and the youngest of the four. Let’s just say, she knows it. Ella loves to show the boys that hunting is made for girls, too! She works the field with her whole heart, and likes to show the boys up when she struts back full of sass with her dead bird! Ella is IPDBA and ACK registered! She came from South Carolina.
Each one of our Llewellyn Setters were raised and trained by the owner of EQ Hunts. Jonathan, much like Beau was born to hunt. His passion for hunting creates a special bond with each of his dogs. They are family, they get each other and they work well together! This makes for an amazing hunt guaranteed to make you want to come back again, and again. Jonathan is a hard working family man, business owner and the father of five daughters. Yes, five of them! Rest assured, you’re not the only one giving Jonathan grief about that goofy hat. His daughters do it before he leaves home, too.
EQ Hunts will provide a short gun handling and safety lesson before each hunt. We want everyone from experienced to beginners, to enjoy themselves and have fun all while keeping yourself and the dogs safe!
