It was a dusty dry weekend for The Tug Hill Buck Run. We had 474 participants and we would like to Congratulate Nikkie Ariola for the winning hand 4 of a kind (4 duces).

We had no incidents or accidents reported as bad as the dust was, so thank you for your discretion in safety.

First the THAAA would like to thank All the Participating Businesses and hope they had a Successful and Profitable Day.

Second we would like to thank All the Participants, New and Returning for supporting the Lewis County Trail System and the businesses on Tug Hill. In Purchasing Trail Permits you ensure Trail development and maintenance, as well as enhancing the access to your favorite stops and sights. It also promotes New development to connect new areas.

The trails are open until the end of the day October 12th. 2025. Please be respectful of all the hard work Lewis County Trail crew and club members put into the system and stay on marked trails.

We look forward to seeing everyone the rest of this season and in 2026.

Good Afternoon to all our members. A few of our trail ambassadors and members were able to get out today, and do some trail maintenance and to hand out our posters for the THAAA Annual Buck Run. Our Buck Run is on September 20th 2025. We rode Gomer Hill through to Houseville to Brantingham. We also rode The Commons and cleared a couple of trees that were down across the trail. We ended our day riding the railroad bed trail back up through Houseville and back to the Towpath Restaurant in Turin. We want to thank Tim from The West Wind for helping us out with a side x side for a few of our members who donated their time to the club. We made it back in time to attend the Lewis County ATV Round Table Meeting. Lots of encouraging information for our trail system here in Lewis County. Everyone is welcomed to join the meeting. It's the 4th Monday of every month at 4pm. Welcomed to join in person or through Microsoft Teams online. If interested email us at: [email protected] . We will send you the link.
