We had another great meet at Skydive Carolina this past weekend! Thank you to all of the participants for joining us and the videographers for helping. And as always, thank you to Skydive Carolina for hosting and supporting the event!!

This was the second meet attended this season by each of the teams! Matthew Alarif of SDC RhEvolution XP was on the ground to help with questions ranging from exits to block technique. Unfortunately, weather rolled in Saturday afternoon so teams were only able to complete 3-4 of the 6 rounds.

TSC4Way placed 1st in the AA class with an average of 6.3, with Carolina Airspeed placing 2nd with an average of 5.0. Spank'Em completed the RRR class with a .5 average.

Check out https://www.skyleague.com/scores/ for a more detailed score report, and keep an eye out for an article once more leagues across the country submit scores!

We hope you join us for the next CaSL meet and look forward to more FS fun!

AAA/AA PARTICIPATION IDENTICAL WITH A/RRR IN JULY: The latest additions to the combined July leaderboard came from the Triangle Skydiving Center, where the Carolina Skydiving League completed its second meet of the 2021 season. CASL co-director Jamie Caldwell welcomed three new teams to 4-way competition in the Carolinas, who had not attended any meets this year. Five different teams were at Skydive Carolina in May, where SDC RhEvolution XP had launched their outdoor competition season. Jamie Caldwell has been managing the Carolina Skydiving League together with SDC RhEvolution XP member Matt Alarif since the beginning of the 2021 season. Matt Alarif was not available last weekend, and his team mate Chris Webb was helping Jamie Caldwell. He player-coached Rookie Class team BurbleHead through the six rounds. Jamie Caldwell was guiding the second Rookie Class team PepperJack as the player-coach... More at https://www.skyleague.com/news/152260/

SUCCESSFUL RESTART FOR CAROLINA SKYDIVING LEAGUE: The current overall leaderboard combines an impressive total number of 23 teams in the four NSL categories (AAA - AA - A - RRR). More 4-way teams are back in the air, this time at outdoor meets in three different league regions of the United States, and more scores from the Northern Plains Skydiving League will still be added. It was only a 2-week time-frame that brought the 23 teams together on the same leaderboard after using the same competition draw. The situation during the corona virus crisis resulted in extended time-frames for the competition draws to offer teams and leagues more flexibility and still match meet dates of other affiliated leagues in the NSL Network. The format for the outdoor events now matches World Tunnel League and Indoor Cloud League where each month has been offering the same competition draw for teams and events...
