Established in fall of 2014, our team was founded as the UML Urban Choreography Club, and renamed to the UMass Lowell Protohype Dance Crew in 2016.

Thank you everyone to coming first day of auditions!

The first piece is choreographed to “Greedy” by Ariana Grande

The second piece is choreographed to “Jenny From The Block” by J Lo

Here are the videos for those who want to practice or for those who couldn’t make it to today’s practice.

Make sure you practice both pieces and give it your all on Thursday, September 10th! Day 2 is MANDATORY to be considered for membership.

We hope to see you then and make sure to fill in your Campus Groups if you haven’t already before day 2 of auditions :)

Thank you to all the ProtoHype members and eboard for putting together a wonderful, fun dance showcase!🥰Thank you to our volunteers, MCs, and guest performers for helping us make it happen!☺️Special thanks to the alumni, friends, and family for coming to watch us perform!
